The Village of Hope in Israel's Jezreel Valley, fosters a caring environment while providing employment, dignity and purpose for the residents. In addition to the satisfaction of producing world class wine they find joy and self worth in helping to grant wishes for children with life threatening illnesses.
The NGO will be building more awareness around humanitarian issues such as the diaspora and awareness of how people of special needs with the right care and attention can achieve beyond expectation. Halpern, now a distinguished guest and 2nd year award recipient, will assist the organizations' mission and global platform by being in the 'Best of World Cinema' program. The group plans to utilize Wishmakers to aide in their global push to assist in the United Nations mission of Economic and Sustainability through media, arts, and awareness issues that can impact our world.
